Jan - 10 Semester Reflection

1. One book I enjoyed over the break was To Kill a Mockingbird because of its powerful message about justice and empathy.  2. I'd invite Frederick Douglass to dinner and ask him how he found the strength to fight for freedom and equality despite his much adversity.  3. Jan - 14 Write about an object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to you.

A small silver locket is very special to me because it used to belong to my mom. Inside, it has tiny pictures of her and my grandmother, smiling when they were young. The locket isn't just jewelry—it reminds me of the love and connection between us. When I wear it, I feel close to them, like they're with me even when I'm on my own. The locket helps me remember their strength and love, which gives me comfort and courage every day.
